Rules & Policies
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, please review our resort policies before your arrival. Thank you for choosing Ellensburg Camp Resort!
IMPORTANT: Please confirm your plans and dates before paying. Reservations that include a Friday or Saturday night between April 1–November 1, or any national holiday weekend, are FULL PAYMENT and NONREFUNDABLE. By completing your reservation you agree to these terms.
Reservation & Cancellation Policy
- Please confirm your plans and dates before paying. Reservations that include a Friday or Saturday night between April 1–November 1, or any national holiday weekend, are FULL PAYMENT and NONREFUNDABLE.
- High-demand periods, summer weekends, and special events may have minimum night stay requirements.
- No Show / No Call by 9:00 PM on your arrival date may result in immediate cancellation and deposit forfeiture without notice.
- To cancel, you must call the campground before the deadlines below. Text and email cancellation notifications will not be accepted.
Cancellation Deadlines
- RV & Tent Sites: 7-day cancellation notice required. Call by 4:00 PM, seven days before your scheduled arrival.
- Lodging & Accommodations (Cabins, Tipis, Vacation Home): 14-day cancellation notice required. Call by 4:00 PM, fourteen days before your scheduled arrival.
- Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits.
- Cancellations made after the deadlines will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.
- No refunds are given due to the discomforts of nature, including no-shows and early checkouts.
- No refunds are given on or after the arrival date.
- Refunds will be processed to the original credit/debit card — no exceptions.
- The cancellation policy may be amended during a regional or national travel disruption.
Check-In & Security Deposit
- All guests are required to check in with the office first upon arrival.
- A refundable security deposit will be added at check-in for all accommodations (Cabins, Tipis, Vacation Home).
- In the event of damage to resort property — including cabins, tipis, or our electrical grid — the cost of repairs will be charged to the card on file.
- RV pedestals are not designed to charge electric vehicles. Damages caused by EV charging will be at the guest's expense.
- Use of electrical converters that cause damage to our electrical grid will result in repair charges to the guest.
Vehicles & Parking
- Speed limit is 5 MPH throughout the resort — no exceptions.
- We do not have room for extra vehicles to park directly at your site.
- If you have an extra vehicle, you will be charged the extra car fee and required to park in the overflow parking areas designated by staff.
- All guests must check in with the office, pay vehicle and registration fees, and park in designated areas.
- Do not park on the grass.
Pet Policy
- Pets are welcome! Call ahead to confirm pet availability for your specific accommodation type — some units may have restrictions.
- Service dogs are welcomed. Leash and behavior rules apply.
- Dogs must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet when outside your vehicle or rental unit at all times.
- Do not leave a tethered dog unattended.
- Dogs of any breed that are hostile or aggressive will be asked to leave the campground, along with their owners.
- Constant barking bothers other campers. If your pet is too vocal, you may be asked to find other accommodations.
- Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets immediately.
Trash & Cleanliness
- We offer curbside trash valet service at your site every day — we look forward to making your stay easy!
- Please keep your site clean and tidy throughout your stay.
- Do not leave trash bags at your site outside of valet pickup times.
Fires & Grilling
- Fires are permitted in designated fire rings only. No ground fires.
- Never leave a fire unattended. Fires must be fully extinguished before leaving your site or going to sleep.
- Call (509) 925-9319 to pre-order firewood bundles waiting at your campsite upon arrival.
- During fire bans or high fire danger conditions, all open flames may be prohibited. Check with the office.
- Burning trash, plastics, or treated wood is strictly prohibited.
Food & General Store
- Brick oven pizzas can be ordered up to 30 minutes prior to closing time.
- Call (509) 925-9319 to place your order or to pre-order firewood bundles.
- The general store carries camping essentials, snacks, ice, and firewood.
- Propane fill-ups are available on-site.
Pool & Water Safety
- Pool season is May 20 – September 10. Pool hours are 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily.
- No lifeguard on duty — swim at your own risk.
- Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
- No diving, running, or rough play in or around the pool.
- Proper swimwear required. No cutoffs or street clothes in the pool.
- No glass containers in the pool area.
- The Yakima River is a natural waterway — always supervise children near the water.
